Set in the beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the 29029 Everesting Challenge is a one-of-a-kind endurance event designed to test both physical and mental strength—while bringing people together for something bigger than themselves.

Participants have 36 hours to ascend 29,029 vertical feet—the equivalent height of Mount Everest.
Hike up the mountain, take the gondola down, and repeat.

This year, Matthew Eilers is taking on the 29029 Challenge not just as a personal goal, but as a mission to give back. He has partnered with Kids’ Food Basket, a West Michigan nonprofit dedicated to ensuring children have access to nutritious meals so they can grow, learn, and thrive.
Every step Matt takes on that mountain represents something bigger—helping provide consistent, healthy food to children in our local community.
